Attorney and former music critic Leslie Berman travels around the world offering workshops on intellectual property rights, copyright and "fair use," and contractual agreements to attendees of publishing and music business conferences.

For several years, she has been a judge in the Entertainment and Media Law Moot Court competition run by Cardozo School of Law and BMI, in which teams of entrants submit and argue their briefs on timely issues in intellectual property law.

Recently, she has offered workshops for the Folk Music Society of New York, Inc. and the People's Music Network.
